We can’t get enough of black and white boudoir photos, and here’s why…
While color photos are great, there is something timeless and classic about boudoir black and white photography. Without color, light and form become the dynamic elements creating a striking effect.
– Henri Matisse, widely regarded as the greatest colorist of the 20th century and rival to Pablo Picasso once said, “I’ve been forty years discovering that the queen of all colors is black.”
The art of b&w boudoir
Master landscape photographer Ansel Adams only took pictures in black and white because of how it rendered highlights, shadows, and detail in the scenery he so loved. Here at Revealed Studios boudoir photography, we’re drawn to black and white boudoir photography for the same reason. It’s a beautiful way to showcase the female form, which curves and bends in a complex way just like a landscape.
