Color-blocked paint in chartreuse, burnt orange, indigo blue, and bubble gum pink channel the cinematic streets of Mexico City. Le Loft is not just any copy-and-paste venue in Chicago. It’s a one-of-a-kind, mixed-use, artists-created space just waiting for your next big event. 

Le Loft Event Space is located in the heart of Chicago

Le Loft is five miles northwest of the Chicago Loop, just south of Logan Square, and a few blocks west of Wicker Park. This unique and transformative venue is housed on the second floor of a converted factory rich with history and character. 

Why choose Le Loft for your event venue?

With 30+ years of experience working in the events industry, co-founders/photographers Kelly Feldmiller and Maggie Rife Ponce (moi) with makeup artist Emily Wolf have experienced countless venues and worked with hundreds of brides and party-goers. After years of dreaming, we decided in June of 2023 to officially take the plunge and open our event space. As longtime industry vendors, we know what goes into creating an iconic visual space and how to create a smooth customer experience from start to finish. 

Why we fell in love with this event space. 

When we first visited Le Loft, before it was officially Le Loft, it was raw, and dirty, and kinda falling apart. But we saw the bones. A 4,800 square foot, two-side space with an open layout, hardwood floors, huge south-facing windows, and major NYC vibes.  We just couldn’t resist.

We set to work updating the two sides for months to make it a showstopper. Our east side features chartreuse, pink, and orange accent walls, handmade modern furniture, a disco ball–because duh, and a super vibey wine-painted bathroom with terrazzo floor tiles. 

If the east side is a bit more traditionally feminine, our west side could be considered masculine. We choose more earth tones, a rich-camel Chesterfield couch, natural woods throughout, woven textiles, and stoneware pottery to give it a modern yet old-world feel (yes,I know that sounds like a contradiction, but trust me). 

In addition to the furniture throughout, we have two full kitchens, two bathrooms, seven 8’ ft tables, 46 white folding chairs, a Sonos system, and a decor closet to make your event dreams come true. We personally never wanna leave the space at the end of our workday and think you’ll love it too. 

What sort of events can I host at Le Loft?

Whether you’re looking for a Chicago wedding venue, bridal shower, birthday party event space, day-of wedding suite, or corporate or wellness workshop, we have you covered!  You’ll receive the same customized care we’ve offered all our clients over the years. 

• Birthday parties. We’ve been happy to host a wide range of birthday parties, including first birthdays, thirtieth birthdays, and many in between.
• Baby Showers. If you’re into traditional colors, consider our East side if you’re having a girl for your baby shower or the West side if you’re having a boy.
• Wedding events. Le Loft is a great option if you’re looking for a flexible space to host your wedding, engagement party, or bridal shower or for your day-of suite. There are so many Instagrammable backgrounds, and the light in the space is a photographer’s dream!
• Workshops. We’ve been honored to host wellness retreats, floral and beauty design workshops, creative educational events, and more.
• Corporate Events. Host your next corporate meet-and-greet, non-profit events, or networking happy hour.

We’re happy to help accommodate your vision. Our furniture can be moved around, and the open layout makes it easy to customize the floor plan. Add-on services are available if you need help with production or creative design, and we have a curated list of vendors to ensure you’re working with trusted professionals. 

What does it cost to rent your Chicago event venue?

We offer hourly rates starting at $150 for events and custom wedding packages. Find the right rate for your needs here.

What does my event space rental include? 

Your event rental includes the agreed-upon hours plus a complimentary 15 minutes for setup and teardown. We also offer complimentary use of our tables, chairs, sound system, and various backgrounds. Additional add-on services include: 

• Day-of coordination
• Wedding Photography and event photography
• Event and Bridal hair and makeup
